Oh Beautiful World!
As part of Oh Beautiful World! a sculpture by Eleanor Lakelin inspired by Oscar Wilde's famous declaration 'oh beautiful world,' (his first words after leaving Reading Gaol), Reading Museum invited the local community to explore the idea of collage and create an artistic response, combining Eleanor's sculpture and your own personal beautiful world (at a time when we were all confined to home).
Created for Collage in a Time of COVID, an online exhibition by Reading Museum. This was my response, described as "Nature and chaos beautifully overlap in this collage, affirming life over the natural order."
